Nickelodeon USA Posts 15th Straight Weeks Of Gains, Scores Top Animated And Preschool Shows With "SpongeBob SquarePants" And "Bubble Guppies"

Nickelodeon has announced the Nickelodeon Ratings News in the following Press Release, from Nickelodeon's Kids and Family Press Site, NickPress.com, that Nickelodeon USA has continued its ratings momentum by posting the networks 15th consecutive week of year-over-year gains, garnering a 2.5/844,000, up +4% among kids 2-11 and averaging 1.6 million total viewers, an increase of +7%. Nickelodeon is also basic cable's most-watched net for the week (4/29/13-5/5/13) among total viewers.

Nick's hit preschool series "Bubble Guppies" was basic cable's top preschool program for the third straight week, averaging a 5.6/757,000 K2-5 and posting double-digit gains over last year (+46%). Additionally, Nickelodeon's hit original animated series (Nicktoon) "SpongeBob SquarePants" ranked as basic cable's number-one animated series with kids 2-11 (5.1/1.7 million) this week, followed by the popular Nicktoon "The Fairly OddParents" (4.8/1.6 million).
