Nickelodeon USA To Premiere New Original TV Movie "Swindle" On Saturday 24th August 2013

Nickelodeon, one of the world's leading entertainment brands for kids and families, has announced in a Tweet (post) on their official Twitter profile page (@NickelodeonTV) the exciting Nickelodeon News that Nick USA will premiere and show the networks brand new Nickelodeon Original Movie, "Swindle", on Saturday, August 24th 2013 at 8:00pm ET/PT / 7:00pm C!:

In "Swindle", kids' will have a chance to see all their favorite Nickelodeon stars together for the first time when Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande from "Sam & Cat", Noah Crawford and Chris O'Neal from "How to Rock" and "You Gotta See This", Noah Munck from "iCarly" and "Gibby", and Ciara Bravo from "Big Time Rush" team up in this original comedy caper. Based on a popular children's book by Gordon Korman, production took place in October 2012 in Vancouver, Canada.


Everyone has a baseball card but not everyone has one that worth 1.2 million dollars! In "Swindle", when one falls into the hands of best friends Ben and Griffin, it's the instant solution to save Ben from having to move, however, when an evil collector cons Griffin Bing (Noah Crawford) out of their million dollar baseball card that could have saved the home of his best friend, Ben (Chris O'Neal), by only buying it for $300 instead, he unites a ragtag group of his classmates - Amanda (Ariana Grande), Savannah (Jennette McCurdy), Darren (Noah Munck) and Melissa (Ciara Bravo) to take down the swindler. It's a valiant adventure that will take them through daring heists, crazy disguises, pie fights and a showdown with a sumo wrestler – but throughout it all, the kids have to bring their skills together as a team to get justice. It's time to call in some favors and avenge the swindler!

To accompany their brand new TV movie, Nickelodeon has launched their all-new official "Swindle" website on nick.com, which is packed full of information about the film, including character bios and a photo flipbook featuring pictures (stills) from the movie, plus a message board/forum for visitors to talk about "Swindle"!

"Swindle" will begin airing in 2014 on Nickelodeon's 40+ international channels across Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia.
