Nickelodeon And Viacom Consumer Products Promotes Marianne James To VP, Consumer Products For UK And Ireland, And European Retail Sales And Marketing

The children's entertainment and media news website Kidscreen is reporting the Nickelodeon News in the following article that Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) has promoted Marianne James to the position of Vice President (VP) consumer products for UK and Ireland, and European retail sales and marketing.

In her new role, James will lead the UK and Ireland consumer products team who is responsible for planning, developing and implementing Nick & Viacom's consumer products retail strategy. She will report to NVCP's consumer products General Manager (GM) and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Australia, Mark Kingston and Nickelodeon UK Managing Director (MD), Tina McCann. James will start her new role immediately.

Since joining Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products in 2011 as director of EMEA retail sales and marketing and pan-European licensing, James has led the consumer products team to develop a collaborative approach to working with licensees and retailers. Most recently, she has played a major role in the re-launch of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".

Launched in 1993, Nickelodeon UK is available in 14 million satellite and cable homes in the territory and now reaches more than 10 million viewers a month. Nickelodeon UK will be celebrating the channels 20th Birthday in September 2013:
