Nickelodeon Stars Unite In "Swindle", A All-New Comedy Caper TV Movie, Premiering Saturday 24th August 2013 On Nick USA

Nickelodeon, one of the world's leading recognized entertainment brands for kids and families, has today (Wednesday 14th August 2013) announced and confirmed in the following press release, from TVByTheNumbers, the exciting Nickelodeon news that Nick USA will premiere and show the networks brand new Nickelodeon Original TV Movie, "Swindle", on Saturday 24th August 2013 at 8:00pm ET/PT; 7:00pm C!

The 90-minute comedy caper features an ensemble cast of Nickelodeon fan favorites who have teamed up for the first time ever: Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande from "Sam & Cat"; Noah Crawford and Chris O'Neal from "How to Rock" and "You Gotta See This"; Ciara Bravo from "Big Time Rush"; and Noah Munck from "iCarly" and "Gibby". "Swindle" is based on the popular children's book by Gordon Korman.

In "Swindle", an evil collector cons Griffin (Crawford) out of a million dollar baseball card that could have saved his best friend's (O'Neal) home, so he unites a ragtag group of his classmates (McCurdy, Grande, Bravo and Munck) to take down the swindler. It's a valiant adventure that will take them through daring heists, crazy disguises and a pie fight face-off – but throughout it all, the kids have to bring their skills together as a team to get justice.

"Swindle" is currently available for pre-order on iTunes, and beginning Sunday 25th August 2013, the movie will be available for download on Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, PlayStation Store, Samsung Media Hub and Vudu. Swindle is written by Eric Freiser (Road to Ruin) and Bill Motz (Brandy & Mr. Whiskers) & Bob Roth (Lion King 2). Marjorie Cohn (Big Time Movie, Rags), Lauren Levine (Bridge to Terabithia, Best Player), Karen Glass, Paul Barry and Loris Lunsford serve as executive producers. The movie is directed by Jonathan Judge (Big Time Rush, Fred 3) with Scott McAboy's Pacific Bay Entertainment producing.
